1. Definitions and interpretation

"Agreement": these terms and conditions of business ("T&Cs") pertaining to the Services provided.

"Client": person to whom the Services are provided.

“Practitioners”: the professionals who deliver the Services at the business premises.

"Services": the services to be provided under the Agreement which include the podiatrist

2. Fees and costs

2.1 Fees payable by the Client for the Appointments shall be the fees chargeable by the Practitioners for such Services current at the date of provision on the day.

3. Terms of payment

3.1 Except where otherwise agreed in writing fees for the Services shall be due and payable in full by the Client immediately following the provision of the Services and is non-refundable. Payment may be made by cash, cheque or card.

4. Cancellations

4.1 If a Client fails to attend or cancels an appointment with less than 1 working days’ notice, the fee is payable in full.

4.2 The Company shall issue a supplementary fee invoice to the Client for such cancellation and/or re-scheduling fees and the Client shall make full payment to the Company within 30 days of the date of that invoice.

4.3 Re-scheduled appointments cannot be cancelled under any circumstances. If a Client cancels or fails to attend a re-scheduled appointment they will be charged the full cancellation fee.

5. Provision of Services

The information published on the Business’s website are not binding and reasonable variations may be made to the Services without notice, and the Services so varied shall be accepted as complying with the Agreement.

6. Warranties and representations

Each party warrants and represents that, as at the date of this Agreement, it has full capacity and authority to enter into this Agreement. If requested, the Practitioner may help the Client to choose medical services or other Services but the business does not provide any warranties that such Services will be fit for the Client's purpose and assessment and selection of the Services remains the Client's ultimate responsibility.

7. Modifications and additional terms

The Business reserves the right to modify these T&Cs without prior notice.  When changes are made they will be posted them on this page of this website www.margaretcarruthers.co.uk).

8. Governing law and dispute resolution

The Agreement shall be governed by English Law. Any dispute under this Agreement shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of English courts.

9. Contact

By registering with the practitioner and accepting the terms and conditions, you are agreeing to receive general contact from this business. This includes information such as your booking confirmations, appointment reminders and contact relating to your treatment support. This does not include unrelated promotions or marketing.

10. Other terms 

10.1 Force majeure: The Company shall be entitled to delay or cancel the delivery of Appointments and Treatments if it is prevented from or hindered in or delayed in the provision of Services through any circumstances beyond its reasonable control including strike, lock-out, accident, war, government action, national emergency, act of terrorism, protest, riot, civil commotion, explosion, flood, snow, epidemic, fire, illness.

10.2 The Company's privacy statement at www.margaretcarruthers.co.uk will apply.

10.3 The Company may assign or sub-contract its obligations or rights under this Agreement to a competent third party in whole or in part.
